The first food I think of when I think of summer food is grilled Ribs!
I simply love the smell of the ribs cooking on the grill.
But, unfortunately I do not know how to grill; so instead, I use the next best thing, my crock-pot!
I love using my crock-pot all year around. It is the easiest way to cook. Plus, it does not get my kitchen so hot! Here’s my take on crock-pot ribs:
Country style ribs
Seasoning (I use a homemade seasoning made from a friend, but you can use whatever you like)
Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce
That’s it. Just 3 simple ingredients!
1. Spray crock pot with non-stick spray (not necessary, but I do)
2. Coat both sides of ribs with the seasoning of your choice
3. Lay ribs in crock-pot
4. Pour sauce over ribs. (Also this is not necessary. If you don’t use sauce during cooking, with 30 minutes left, drain juice from the crock-pot. Then coat with sauce and cook the remaining time.)
5. Cook low and slow for 6 hours.
6. Eat and Enjoy
